DBCS's Skills Development Services supports a wide variety of learners, all of whom have unique communication preferences. Currently, we offer instruction using: American Sign Language (tactile and visual), ASL fingerspelling, two-hand manual, voiceover, lip reading, print-on-palm, braille and large print notes.

We currently provide support using a variety of assistive technologies including screen-reading software (i.e., JAWS or Voice Over), screen magnification software, braille (slate and stylus, refreshable devices, and printers), closed-circuit televisions (CCTV), smartphones, and smartboards.
