CNIB Deafblind Community Services (DBCS) is pleased to continue supporting Deafblind adults in British Columbia thanks to an investment from the Government of British Columbia in intervenor services.
This funding follows months of dedicated advocacy by the Deafblind community and its allies. It represents a meaningful step toward achieving permanent, sustainable funding for these critical, life-changing services.
Above all, access to intervenor services is not a luxury — it is a fundamental human right. These services are essential for ensuring independent living, effective communication, and full participation in society for people who are Deafblind.
DBCS looks forward to continuing our work in partnership with the Government of British Columbia to build a future where intervenor services are reliably funded and available to all who need them.
