CNIB Deafblind Community Services has been watching the latest news about the COVID-19 pandemic and are following all public health instructions, including recommendations from the World Health Organization, Government of Canada, and federal and provincial health authorities.
As the situation is constantly changing, we will continue to act based on the most up-to-date advice from Canadian public health authorities. As we continue through these uncertain times, DBCS will continue to provide the highest standard of services to our clients.
Essential Services
Recently, DBCS has established our essential services, which will be prioritized for clients based on urgency, client needs and risk factors.
These essential services have been defined as:
- Medical, legal, food and financial services
- Emergency Guide Dog services
- Emergency intervenor services
