Maria Ash, Vice President, Business Support Services
Maria provides executive leadership to a range of strategic functions including marketing and communications, property, people and culture, and accessibility. Prior to joining the team, Maria was the executive vice president of Booth Centennial Healthcare Linen Services.

Sherry Grabowski, Executive Director, Deafblind Community Services

Sherry is the executive lead for all CNIB Deafblind Community Services programs and the staff lead to our board of directors. Before joining our team, Sherry held the position of regional director at the Canadian Hearing Society.

Betty Leeson, Director of Operations  

Betty provides leadership to our organization’s management team and oversees CNIB Deafblind Community Services’ operations across Ontario. She joined CNIB’s deafblind services team in 1986, bringing with her an extensive background in services and intervention for people who are Deafblind.

John M. Rafferty, President and CEO

John M. Rafferty joined CNIB Deafblind Community Services in 2019 as the organization’s inaugural president and CEO, and the driving force behind its creation. He is also the president and CEO of our two affiliate organizations, the CNIB Foundation and Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada. John is a member of the C.D. Howe Institute’s Health Policy Council and the Board of Directors for Accessible Media Inc., and is chair of Vision 2020 Canada. In 2012, he earned the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
